By car
- From Catania (Fontanarossa Airport): Take the A18 motorway towards Syracuse. Exit at Syracuse South and follow the signs to the city center. Once on Via Tripoli, you will find public parking near the property.
- From other Sicilian cities: Reach Syracuse via the A18 or A19 motorway network and follow the signs for the city center/Ortigia. Via Tripoli is in an easily accessible area.
By train
The Syracuse train station is about a 10-minute walk from Hotel Mediterraneo. From the station, follow Via Francesco Crispi, cross the Umbertino Bridge, and continue on Corso Umberto until you reach Via Tripoli. The hotel's proximity to the station makes it convenient for guests using public transport.
By bus
The main bus stop in Syracuse is located at the train station, also 10 minutes on foot from the property. From the stop, follow the directions mentioned above to reach us on foot.
From the airport
- From Catania Airport: You can reach Syracuse by:
- Rental car: Take the A18 motorway (travel time: about 50 minutes).
- Direct Interbus: Regular connections between the airport and Syracuse station (travel time: about 1 hour).
- Private transfer: Contact us to arrange a transfer service upon arrival.
On foot
Hotel Mediterraneo is a 10-minute walk from Ortigia, the historic and cultural heart of Syracuse. Attractions such as the Cathedral of Syracuse, the Ortigia market, and the Archaeological Park of Neapolis are all within a few minutes' reach.
